Hi everyone! Terri from northern Michigan. Trying again. I’m becoming a bit more active. I’d like to trim off 40+ pounds. Mostly for my health and so I can feel better. Physically and emotionally. I’m 66 years old. And a foodie. Big time!

Hello and welcome, Terri from Northern Michigan!
I'm Ann from mid-Michigan, 68, now in long-term maintenance after losing about 50 pounds back in 2015-16. It did help my health markers (cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.), and generally improved my quality of life.
I hear you on the "foodie" thing. This may not apply to everyone, but I actually found food, cooking and eating more enjoyable when I became more selective about what I ate, vs. just shoveling in whatever looked good around me. Focusing on identifying the tastiest and most nutrient-dense things, cooking them in delicious ways . . . fun, to me. YMMV.
Best wishes for success: The effort is worth it!0 -
