I’m 62 and hoping to start eating healthier and getting regular exercise. My goals are to strengthen my core, eat more fruits and vegetables, and get daily exercise!

Hello, and welcome!
Hope is good, maybe motivating. Action is empowering. It doesn't have to be an overnight revolution: I'm poor at those, personally. A sequence of relatively small positive changes can really add up, even over a surprisingly short period of time.
It's definitely not too late for that: I'm 68, got here at 59 with weight loss as my main goal, and have been at a healthy weight for around 8 years so far. If a hedonistic aging hippie flake like me - someone with a very limited budget of willpower, motivation or discipline - can make changes, I think most people can. Committing to it is key, and keeping it manageable is a big help, I think.
Wishing you success: The rewards can be great.1 -
