Thumb support for hypermobility

The title says it all really! Any recommendations for thumb supports for hypermobile base of thumb? Anyone tried a ring splint?
I use thumb tape for lifting but I need something for day to day use. Thinking of trying a ring splint but it looks like they are difficult to guess size wise, and I don’t have access to a special therapy team for accurate measurements.

Sorry, I'm afraid I can't help you here. I am hypermobile but my wrists and finger bases, and especially the thumbs are so stiff I can't do pushups with hands flat on the ground 😬 No idea why. Fun fact: I once had a pain catheter in my shoulder. The drug immediately migrated to my hand when I sat up after surgery. So I thought: hey, now I should be able to move my wrist and thumb more. Nope, no can do. Still very limited range of motion there.0

🤣 it’s weird isn’t it? I have some really stiff joints and some really loose joints - no rhyme or reason!0 -

😅 Totally! My rubbish theory is that I feel too often flat on my nose. I wish you find a solution for your fingers ❤️ Those splints do look lovely, mind.
