Hello

I just joined the MyFitnessPal, having some difficulty of how to save food for a later date. For what I can tell it’s different from the other apps I’ve been using. Giving it a try to lose some weight. Enjoy you Memorial Day Holiday thanks to you who served 🇱🇷

    Hi @oakridge229 welcome to MFP!

As you start to save foods, MFP will recognize the foods you enter often. All you’ll have to do is type the first few letters of the name and it will come up automatically. Then it will start suggesting foods that you frequently eat with that first door.

    Like so:

I eat a ton of cottage cheese. MFP knows that if I start typing “cott” that’s probably what I’m adding and pulls it up automatically as a suggestion.

Once I select it, I can scroll down and it will also provide a list of foods I typically eat with or around the same time as cottage cheese.

All I have to do is select the radio button to add them, too. Most the time it even pulls forward the same quantity as I had last time I ate it or them.

For example, every afternoon I have a serving of cottage cheese, frozen blueberries and cherries, 28 grams of sweet balsamic, and 8gr of Grape Nuts. If I select those items, it will move them to my food diary. I can then adjust there, if I need to.

    Hope this helps!
