Better Late than never

Joining in on May 30 but if I wait, like anything, I might never get around to it. Still, 10 pounds is a reasonable two month goal for me. My husband is also on MFP, so I"m not going to share my current weight or Goal weight. However, I will share that my top weight was +45 from today but my current goal weight is -26 from today. I know the BMI would set my goal much lower than that. However, I know myself and the thought of it would be overwhelming. So I have to take this is bite size pieces (pun intended).
Logging my food is the MOST important success factor for me. When I've done well, its been because I was honest with my journal. I've given myself permission to have the occasional treat on the condition that it must be accurately logged. It is amazing how much that tiny bit of self accountability makes you decide to pass on that unexpected offer of a donut/pastry, or that handful of chips.
When I've been REALLY successfully, I've gone to WW or had some other external accountability (like an upcoming Drs appointment). I think this challenge, and having the journal where I can share my progress may help fill that void. So HERE GOES!!
