Hello, and welcome!
I kind of think my ship has already sailed.I'm postmenopausal (20+ years now, since menopause was early because of chemotherapy). At age 59, MFP helped me lose almost 23 kilos, and I've been maintaining a healthy weight since, now age 68.
I'm commenting to say that you can do this, if you commit to it . . . and the rewards (in improved quality of life) are more than worth the effort.
