Liver reducing diet.

Hiya, I have to have my gallbladder removed and 2 weeks before the surgery I have to go on a liver reducing diet, very low fat and carbs. Has anyone done this and what diet plan did they use?

A quick google suggests that a liver reducing diet is a medical diet.

If I’m correct about that, you probably should ask your medical team for advice about specific foods you can eat during that diet.

    This.

Generally, anytime a medical professional says we should be on a special diet, they should be providing us details about how to eat on that diet, either foods to emphasize/avoid, or a structured meal plan. If they don't offer it, ask for it. If they're not responsive, ask for a referral to a registered dietitian with experience in that diet.

They gave me some papers with information on it for the diet plan. And what I can and can’t eat. I lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks from it. If you want some advice message me. I don’t have my gallbladder.

Hopefully your doctor or nutritionist gets back to you, but if they don't, you might want to look up Dr. Sandra Cabot on YT. She has a Gallbladder Series that's very interesting.
