Newbie with little belly going on

I’m new. Aged 63 with discs depleted in lower back so need to keep core muscles good. Dropping 20 lbs would help posture greatly. Addicted to chocolate and beer so I need this app to tell me to STOP. Or at least reduce them. Wish me well. 🍻 🍫

    Good afternoon I don’t know if I’m posting the right spot or if I’m replying to another post. I’m brand new to the app and just trying to get started. I’m a 55-year-old male weight, 56-year-old male dealing with achy joints that I never thought I’d have tendinitis And other issues I need to lose about 30 to 40 pounds. I’m at 2:10 and my muscles or not what they used to be. I figured this should be the first step.

    I can relate Royabaile, chocolate is one if my vices. I cannot even have it in the house. I cannot relate to people say “well just have one and leave it alone“ I simply can’t. I have way too many and then I feel guilty. Cookies is another one. Can’t be in the house, like bringing beer into an alcoholics house
