One week into this App

Hello everyone,
I’m new to this app but not to the struggle of losing weight.
Since puberty my weight has been a constant issue and though I am not one to “diet”, I have had some success over the years losing weight but it seems to find its way back.
I’m 49 y/o, menopausal and fed up with feeling so self conscious about my weight and my body but also I’m fed up with not having any energy after a long day at work.
I understand that losing weight is not going help me love myself more because that starts with the heart but I am confident that it will help me to be more healthy, active, confident and comfortable in my own skin.
My RD told me about this app and I love how easy it is to navigate, log food, water and exercise, as well get healthy recipes for what you need. I’m only a week into this and it’s so much easier to manage my caloric intake as well as nutrients.
I’m excited about this and looking forward to chatting with others who are in similar situations.
