  • Download this app called Songza. It's like Pandora but cooler, for example, there is a category named "work out music" and it gets me going.

My favorite song to work out to is Missy Elliot's Work It.

    But my playlist contains:

Pretty much the entire discography for Mr. Bungle, Beck, and Faith No More

    Hurrah Torpedo cover songs
    Tron Legacy remix soundtrack

Random tracks from Gogol Bordello, Skrillex, Selena Gomez, Dev/the Cataracs, William Shatner, Space,Ours

As long as it's got a fast-ish beat, I like it.

I love Jango radio. I have it as an app on my phone. Kind of like Pandora but with unlimited skips.

My absolute favorite workout song this summer was Let's Go! by Calvin Harris...

Let's Go! Make no excuses now... I'm talkin' here and now, I'm talkin' here and now! Let's Go!

    Very motivating!!!
  • Harder Better Faster Stronger by Daft Punk (I sort of mouth the words while I'm running and it helps me to go faster and harder!)
  • At the moment Usher "yeah," chamillionaire "turn it up," Destiny 's Child "survivor" Kirk Franklin "looking for you, capitol a "sexy baby I'm a freak," lol Jon "snap yo fingers." Then I'll got tired of them for while and listen to new songs

You could look at jog.fm ... you can search songs you like and see what their BPM (beats per minute) is and find other songs with a similar tempo or check out other people's playlists with that song on.

I'm currently compiling a playlist for my treadmill for a 5mph jog ... I'm VERY in tune to the exact beat. Brave by Sara Bareilles ... I know Miley's "We Can't Stop" is getting a lot of hate since the VMAs, but it IS perfect for my run, although her "The Climb" is also a perfect tempo for my run (ok ... jog!)

These tracks from Adam Lambert's Trespassing Deluxe album really get me going at a bouncy clip when I'm power walking:

    Pop That Lock
    Never Close Our Eyes
    Cuckoo
    Trespassing
    Naked Love
    Kickin' In
    Take Back
Runnin' (Best for warming up or ending the session since it's slow, fast, slow, fast.)

I bet they'd be good on a treadmill/jogging/running, etc. as well. I think they're great for doing some fun dance cardio too!

I'm also looking forward to getting & using a track on Avicii's new EDM album 'True' called 'Lay Me Down' featuring Adam Lambert & Nile Rodgers next week when it's released in the states.
