Not acually new but I was using a different App, MyNetDiary, after a creeping weight gain. AFter and update on MyNetDiary, AI went crazy and kept trying to tell me I should be eating 800 calories a day to continue to lose weight. Insane. I've lost 21 pounds since March 26th eating a base calorie count of 1,339 + exercise. (165 to 144 with a goal of 139) Because I am not crazy I decided to move away from that poisonous App and come back to MFP.

That's a bit extreme... In reality though all apps just have a best guess model based on whatever algorithm they use. I think it should have some sort of min barrier though, 800 a day is pretty low.1
