Surprisingly, I've never cooked these suckers. What the heck do I do with 'em? I've come across a few stews, but I don't really want to go that route!

I pan-fry them with Pam, surrounded by halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, and plenty of diced onions. I either eat them hot right away or slice them into strips to be tossed onto salads/into quinoa/etc.

Pot roast? You don't have to buy an entire chuck roast - the steaks work just as well. Brown on both sides in a hot skillet, add a can of beef broth and throw in carrots, onions, potatoes, garlic, pepper and cover in a 350 oven until done. One of my favorite meals!

Chuck is something I would marinate before it was cooked because I think it's pretty chewy. I have made Teriyaki, cabobs, stroganoff and fajitas with chuck.

Crockpot! Makes them very tender, shred the meat & serve in tacos :)

I'm so glad you asked this, I have around 8 chuck steaks that my grandma sent me and I have no idea how to make them!! They butcher a steer every year so I am learning how to cook different meats now that I am about to start getting my own steer...

What I do with chuck steaks:

Let them bathe in a packet of McCormick's Reduced Sodium Montreal Steak marinade (adding water, oil and vinegar per directions) then throw them on the grill. Or you can cook/roast in the oven with some sliced onion and mushroom

Slow cook with some veggies to make pot roast. Or chop up and cook up some stew or chili

    Then there's this amazing recipe:

This might be high in sodium....but I'm making it tomorrow! I just bought the lower sodium gravy mix. I My friend made it and said it was delicious!
