Hi.
I have started to use the app, and I love it.

However I have a question, although it says that I am lightly active for my activities (as I spend time on my feet).

I do spend time on my feet I work in Afghanistan wearing protective equipment which weighs 15Kg I wear this equipment for 12 hours a day for 4 days a wek In temperatures varying from -20 in the winter to +35 dgs Celsius.

Is anyone else in the same situation, if so how do you get round it?

Is there a way that I can adjust my Calorie limit to allow for the extra weight I carry all day?

Thanks. Chris

Your calorie goal is way too low to start with so anything you want to do to up it would be great. An adult male shouldn't be eating under 1800 calories a day to start with so you should either adjust your loss rate to no more than a pound a week or up your activity level to gain more calories.

I would just add some kind of daily exercise to compensate for the appropriate number of extra calories.

I wear a ballistic vest, duty belt with cuffs, baton, radio, OC, and a couple outer things there, plus the steel toe boots. I would guess it adds up to close to 20 lbs. I never worried about the extra weight, and just accepted that I would burn a few more calories and that not a bad thing. I would suggest to play it by ear, if your not losing weight too fast, then your doing fine, if you are losing too fast, more than a couple pounds a week, then just eat a bit more.
