Hello,
I have a problem with the macros, for example, I set them by grams, I set the objective protein for 150gr for example, however, every time I enter a food, the macros objective changes, by the end of the day, the protein may be up to 200gr, i make sure it is set in grams and not percentages, but it still changes though the day as it was percentages.

This happens in my IOS and Android

OK so can you give me a rundown of what macros are and how do you know how many you’re supposed to have?

Do you have a fitness tracker synced to MFP? If not, do you log exercise by typing it in MFP? In either of those cases, your macros would change when extra calories get added. I'm assuming you have premium MFP, since you're setting macros in grams. There's settings there to change how it handles exercise calories, with a few options. I just let it add my exercise calories to my carb goal, since I literally don't care how many carb grams I do or don't eat, as long as I get enough protein/fat and calories come out close. YMMV.

If the above isn't the problem, then there's some kind of bug, and you should contact MFP support through the Help function or at their email address. They'll ask you to do some tedious things along the way, but if I've stuck with it, that's worked OK for me in the past.

The MFP default percents are a reasonable starting point for most people, unless they're trying to lose weight too aggressively fast for their current size. There's no getting adequate nutrition on too-few calories.

If you wanted advice on whether you should vary from the defaults, we'd need more info from you about your size, age, lifestyle, goals, eating style, etc. Also, you'd get better advice if you posted your own thread with a clear title, probably best in the Food and Nutrition part of the Community. Replying on someone else's only loosely-related thread in the Challenges part of the Community isn't going to get much attention to your individual but different question.

    Best wishes!
