My name is Amanda. I am not on a diet at this time. I am out here to get an idea of how I eat and what I need to adjust in my diet to live longer, happy, healthier life. I need to keep an eye on my childrens diets. Diabetes runs in the family and my son has been very large since the day he was born. Last time I went to the doc they told me my 5 year old is 5 lbs overweight. So I am out here to try to correct our eating habits before either gets diabetes.

Get rid of any junk food in the house and make healthier meals. Make sure that he gets plenty of time playing out doors verses indoor on the video games or watching TV.0

I am fighting the junk food battle as we speak! we live with grandma and she likes to walk in with graham crackers and icing...we get in such arguments. This battle has been going on for 5 years now...lol. Thank you!0
