Still Trying to Lose Weight

I hope everyone is having a great day! Raining where I am. I have a problem. I cannot lose any weight. I have bad heartburn and the doctor has put me on 40 mg. of omeprazole before breakfast and 40 mg. of omeprazole before dinner. This is supposed to help me with the heartburn. I cannot eat a lot of foods that would help with weight loss. I am also a breast cancer survivor and had two hip replacements. Is there anyone in a similar situtation? If so how are you handling this? I am constantly hungry also. Just tired of the same foods...trying to get better. Monday I have an esophageal exam..egd

Welcome to the forums! So sorry you're having to endure this, but you're a survivor, that's a huge deal, and if you beat cancer, then you'll beat this also!0

Wow, you've overcome so much already! You are a fighter.
As far as this: "I cannot eat a lot of foods that would help with weight loss." There are no special foods for weight loss. You can eat anything you want, just in the correct calorie amount for your goal weight. How much are you trying to lose? Do you have a daily or weekly calorie goal?
Also, you say you're constantly hungry, however, I know someone who also has severe heartburn and she says it FEELS like hunger, but she knows it isn't. It is the heartburn. Could that possibly be the issue?0
