How do I connect my fitness pal to my garmin connect?

I’ve tried connecting both apps, it says it’s connected on my garmin but it’s not syncing any of the data. How do I fix this?

It's been a long time for me, but I seem to remember having to add MFP to Garmin Connect, and having to add Garmin to MFP. Did you add it on both sides?
