Hi All,
I cannot believe what a difference it makes using the food and exercise diaries here. I've always been into gym but, especially as one gets older, controlling one's waitline is about 90% diet and 10% exercise (in my own personal experience). Anyway, it wasn't till I started using this site that I realised how wrong my eating habits were. Since June, I've dropped from 84kg to 76kg and still going down, yet I can still eat large amounts of cr@p if I just pay attention to timing.
The one other eating tweak I've adopted, I learned from online info about Jason Statham:
1) No carbs after 12pm (When are you going to burn them off?)
2) No food after 7pm
And I'm not even religious about following this approach, I just keep it in mind. In three months I've gone from being a "bloater" to counting the muscles on my abs and yet, last week, I demolished an entire box of 22 caramel squares from Sainsbury and, at the same time, a big bag of minstrels, in one sitting - all thanks to this food diary and seeing what I can get away with.
I wish I'd had this site 10 years ago
