Carbs!!

Hi, I’m struggling to keep my carbs down. I’ve eliminated bread, rice and potatoes but everything I seem to eat has carbs!!

    Is there a particular reason you want to lower your carb intake? Carbs aren't evil :smile: (although getting fats and protein are a bit more important, since our body cannot 'create' them)

    Aside from that, what does that mean to you, 'keeping carbs down' - a particular number per day?

    Yeeeeeeeah, me and cookies are still going through a long break up. :)

    But, really, I just started filling in the missing carbs with more protein and fat. One of my favorite things now is pouched or canned chicken/tuna/salmon mixed with avocado. I also snack on string cheese or whisps (baked cheese crisp thingies).

    Also, yeah! Why are you lowering your carbs? I wouldn't torture myself for that if it weren't for medical reasons.
