Wegovvy & hunger

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this forum but I'm a long time MFP user and recently started on Wegovvy for weight loss.
Curious if any of you that had been in a calorie deficit for a long time and had no hunger cues previously and are now taking wegovvy are experiencing hunger for the first time?
Some background:
- I had to get my thyroid removed and have been experiencing weight gain since
- Doctors told me to "eat less and move more"
- I did that until I was basically starving myself and really messed up my metabolism yet kept gaining weight
- Started weight training and reverse dieting (eating more) and saw changes in body composition but not necessarily weight go down
- Eat 1690 calories (on a cut now) after working my way up in my reverse diet to 2000 calories and no weight gain
- Just started low dose of wegovvy to see if it helps move the needle, still eating the same 1690 calories and high protein
I'm not complaining b/c the scale did go down even though I'm eating the same calories and macros but I'm just curious if other people are having the similar experience.
Its almost as if my metabolism woke up for the first time!!!
