Every day my sodium totals are very high yet when at look at nutrition however, when I go back and check each food items they don’t add up anywhere near what is says for total. It’s sometimes off by a 1000 mg.

This generally comes back to sodium vs. salt. Sodium only makes up a fraction of salt (the rest is chloride). If the salt amounts were added instead of sodium, the amounts would seem much higher than they actually are. This could be the difference you are seeing.0
