All my steps from my Fitbit are not showing up on MFP

This is the second time in the past week where I'm coming up short on the steps MFP is crediting me with. My Fitbit shows14,839 steps but MFP is only showing 5,541. I've disconnected and reconnected. Also getting a whopping number of exercise adjustment calories but I usually disregard those anyway. Absolutely certain my Fitbit is fine because I do the same workout every morning and often hit 10,000 before breakfast. Anyone else having a similar problem of not having all your steps show up on MFP? Thanks.
