Fitbit Calorie Adjustment

My Fitbit Calorie Adjustment calculation has changed, I am getting unreasonable adjustments for a given number of steps, ex. 2,906 steps gives an adjustment of 649 calories!! I've been a member for over 3 years and have never experience this magnitude of an adjustment. Looking back at past data, it appears that I did not get a Calorie Adjustment until I exceeded approximately 5000 steps. I did not changed any settings on my end so I wondering what changed in the Myfitnesspal or the Fitbit apps???
