So what is your meal plan? Perhaps it is not realistic and that is why? I'll share my own plan with you so you can compare.

I'm 176 cm and 86 kg. My goal weight is about 65 kg but the main goal is to find a SUSTAINABLE long term plan to lose weight over time or forever.

The calculation to find my daily calories is:

    Cals calculation: 65 kg convert to pounds = 150 pounds x 12 = 1 700 kcal daily.
    Protein calculation: 150 pounds x 1 = 150 gram protein daily

So there is my meal plan. On theese cals I have a daily step goal of 15 000 steps and I train functional/crossfit 4 days weekly. I don't eat extra on training days, I don't eat any training cals.

1700 cals, 150 gr pure protein. That's it as a plan
I usually do it like this:

    1700 cals x 7 = 11 900 cals/week
    Sunday - Thursday = 1 550 cals
    Friday & Saturday = 2 075 cals

Then I can have a glass of wine or some dessert on the weekends. I still have energy to train and live a good life on 1 550.
