My goal is to lose a bit of weight, as I get older its just very important to take our health more seriously... This is my journey and I hope to be consistent...

    Also, a big "amen" to your main point. At 68 now (59-60 when I finally reached a healthy weight for the first time in literal decades :| ), I only wish I'd been smarter, younger. It's great now, don't get me wrong, and I'm glad I went that route. But earlier life would've been better, too, with better eating and fitness.
