Need to lose 8% bodyfat in 6 weeks. How do I get there?

Hi crew, I have a big performance in 6 weeks and my plan is not going as I expected. Could any of you be supportive and give me some advice? I am in a 5-day training split, with 2000 calorie intake per day 35% protein, 35% fats, and 30% carbs with my daily goal of calorie expenditure for exercise of around 720 daily. Any help is more than well received. TIA

I suspect it's improbable (IMO) to do that in any health-promoting way.

However . . . you haven't given us much information. How much do you weight (at what height and age) now? What's your current estimated body fat percent? How was it estimated (like DEXA, BIA scale, calipers, online calculator (which one), etc.)? Details matter.

The lighter a person already is, the slower it's usually necessary to lose body fat, if a person wants to retain current muscle mass. When bodybuilders cut into a competition, some of that cut is semi-fast fat loss, but some is shedding water weight. Where are you?

Currently, if you're eating 2000 calories and exercising 720, your net intake is around 1280. I wouldn't dream of going that low on net even as an average height and non-young woman within the normal BMI range . . . not because I'm lazy, but because it would be counterproductive for health, exercise performance, and body composition.

35% protein would be around 175g, if I do the arithmetic correctly (as I don't always :D ). Is that enough for you? We don't know, without any insight into your current weight and leanness. (Lowballing protein would be a bad plan with your goals, if you're doing that.) Ditto for the roughly 78g of fats: Enough? We have no way to guess.

On top of that, we don't have a clue what your 5-day training split looks like.

More details would help people here help you, y'know?

I always like to see people succeed with their goals, assuming the goals are realistically achievable. Here, I don't have enough info to respond intelligently.
