I weigh 169 and I’m trying to change that, I want to build muscle and also have a consistent healthy diet. I need help from people who have gone through this before, if you see this please what should I do?

The "Health and Weight Loss" subforum is more active, and you'll get more help there about weight loss.
You'll probably be asked for more info, so people can help more. e.g. your target weight, and enough stats for people to estimate TDEE and BMR.
If you're new to lifting and your calorie deficit isn't too high, you can build some muscle at the same time. Otherwise, do the lifting for the many benefits including muscle retention but don't expect big muscle gains during weight loss.0
