Enough lunch and am full but left half on the plate. 🙌🏼Maybe I need to cook less

    Nice work!

    I have to admit, I find that the trick of using smaller plates helps me feel full more readily. It's still important to eat enough, though. Faster weight loss isn't necessarily better weight loss. I think slow and steady is the path to thriving.

    A few years ago, I bought a dinnerware set: the large plates were literally so big that my cupboards wouldn't shut properly! I read somewhere here on MFP that humans are not good at knowing how big a container (or plate) is, but that we are great at telling when a container (or plate) is full... so smaller plates for me too!

  • When I started my journey I switched to the smaller size snack bags and it has made all the difference! My single serving of pretzels now looks exactly like this instead of it looking like a measly little portion in a huge snack bag!
