Weight loss will not be linear.

How long has your weight been at the same level? Were you losing at a good rate, then loss stopped suddenly; or did loss gradually taper off? How long did it take to lose the 7 pounds?

It's normal to have periods of a couple of weeks or more when bodyweight doesn't change, even though fat is still being lost. (It has to do with healthy shifts in water retention and digestive contents that are on their way to being waste.)

If your loss stopped suddenly, that's a more likely explanation for a scale stall of less than (say) 4-6 weeks, or a whole menstrual cycle. The answer in that case would be to patiently stick with the routine you've been using, until you have that 4-6 weeks/one cycle experience.

If loss tapered off gradually, it might be time to reduce calories a bit further, but I wouldn't encourage to rush to that solution. Under-eating sort of trains our bodies to limp along on less food, by down-regulating less vital life-sustaining functions. (Those are not unimportant functions: It can be things like core body temperature, muscle retention, immune system, hair/nails, and more.)

A better plan, IMO, is to eat as much as one can while gradually achieving weight loss goals: That's a path to better thriving, in health and energy level terms.

    Best wishes!
