    One more thing to add: try to eat relatively healthy most of the time without making yourself miserable. For these reasons:
    1> Fruits and veggies fill you up for fewer calories
    2> Proteins and fats take longer to digest so you will feel full longer than with carbs- especially simple carbs like sugar, white bread, white rice etc.

    I got my food scale at Target. I've had it a few years and don't truly remember how much it cost, but I think it was around $30.00. It's digital and will measure in ounces or grams. I love it, it's a great tool!!
