How do I join a group and how do I reply to someone’s comment in a thread?

    In groups, look for the 'Join' button.
    -- it is usually on the left, just above the 'announcements' section (and after the intro for the group.)

    To reply, click on the discussion, at the bottom/end is a box to make your comment and then when you are ready, click the 'post reply' button.
