How to send notifications straight to email

Hey when I post In a thread, how can I have the notification sent to my email that someone answered my question. Is it possible?

Look in notification preferences.

However… I don’t get emails for “new comments on bookmarked posts” even though it’s checked off, just the notification bell at the top gets a red dot, so I’m not sure where the email vs notification setting is. But I found a check box! 🥴🤷🏼‍♀️
