MyFitnessPal to Samsung Health Calories and Nutrients Don't Match after Syncing

I use my fitness pal (MFP) to log my daily food intake and Samsung Health (SH) for fitness tracking (I don't enter any food manually into SH). I have sync enabled, which seems to have resulted in a successful handshake between the apps except that the food data is inaccurate once it hits the SH app. Calories, fat, protein on MFP show the correct daily totals but after that data is sync'd to SH, SH shows totally different totals.
Is there something I can do to fix that? Or is this a bug that everybody sees? Below are screen shots of both apps' display of the data. Look at 10/30. And note that I have manually refreshed/sync'd both apps to ensure MFP and SH have made a recent handshake.
