Hello everyone ! I am new and learning , can anyone share any tips ?

Hello! My name is autumn and I am 29 from Wisconsin. I am trying to lose a pound a week and I noticed that the app didn’t notice me sleeping . And didn’t log it . How do I set up the sleep thing ?

There's help documentation about it here:

I haven't done it myself, even though I probably could make the apps connect: I know my fitness tracker thinks really dumb things about my sleep, because I was able to compare what it said to an in-hospital sleep study. I'm not saying it won't be realistic for others. I have sleep disorders, so I'm probably just weird. :(

I’ve been here for years, successfully going from obese to normal weight, and tbh I never even noticed there was a sleep tracker.

I just try to make sure I get adequate sleep. I don’t need a device to tell me if I have or haven’t.

So my first tip to you, don’t drown in the details.

People get so wrapped up in the minutiae of macros, this nutrient, that way of eating that they forget it’s as simple as “burn more than you eat”.

Focus on setting a goal, figuring out a plan to stay within that goal, and learning to weigh and log accurately.

I just use Samsung Health connected to my smartwatch for sleep analysis. I never thought MFP was very useful with sleep records
