Is Midnight Today or Tomorrow?

If you eat something after midnight, do you log it as something you ate today or the next day? I think it makes sense to log it as today.
If you're going to say I shouldn't be eating after midnight, my hours are different.. I wake up late and go to sleep around 5 am.

After midnight only refers to chronological date stamp. People's own 24 hour lifestyle would vary from person to person.

That's up to you. Some people find it easier to log from 12AM-12AM...I personally log from when I wake up to when I go to bed. (i.e. it's 12:35 AM on 09/07 now, but I'd still log anything on 09/06 since I haven't gone to bed yet.)0

I go by sleep. If I haven't fallen asleep, it's still the same day:laugh:0

I log it as yesterday. once I get up on Saturday I keep it as Saturday until I go to bed regardless of the time.0

As long as you log it, it doesn't matter which day you slap it on.0

If I'm under goal I log it as today. If I'm close or at goal I log it for tomorrow.0

I agree with this. When I worked 3rd shift, my "day" was bedtime-bedtime, whenever that happened to be (usually 6am ended my day).0 -

HAHA- I do the same exact thing!! :happy:0 -

Me too.
But I usually log it as yesterday if I haven't gone to bed.0 -

Midnight starts a new day, so that is what I log it as.
It's a personal choice though, do what you want.0 -
I try to log everything before midnight but that is only because it's kinda a pain to remember to go back a day.
Your day is whatever you say it is though as far as logging. If you are up from noon to 4am that is your day regardless of what the clock and/or convention says.0
