Net weekly calories vs diary calories

So my goal calories for maintaining my weight 1510. In the diary it adds active calories to that so say I did 500 calories of exercise then I get 2010 for the day.

However when I look at the weekly net over/under it only calculates off the 1510.

So if I eat say 1810 I am still under by 200 for the day but the net calculation says I am over by 300 for the week.

Why isn't exercise calories taken account in the net calculation?

The weekly net calories view compares your net calorie intake (intake minus exercise/ activity adjustment) with your net calorie goal. Or that's the way it should work. Do you have screenshots?

For me the total calorie view is the 'bad' one because it compares my actual intake with the base calorie goal, not taking my exercise adjusted goal into account.

    My example:

    Total calories hugely over goal:

Net calories a lot less over goal because I have nearly 400 activity calories per day (FYI in my case is normal that I'm over goal, I know I can eat more than MFP calculates for me and my goal weight-loss rate is set more 'aggressively' than what I'm actually aiming for)

Oh I see, you are right. The net is correct, just the total is over. Tx for the explanation.
