How Do I Calculate Calories and Macros that I need to lose weight?

Can you point me to any discussions or links where I can easily calculate how many calories I should be eating and how I distribute that into macros? I do workout and understand energy out vs calories in. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.

MFP will give you a reasonable starting estimate for all of that, if you use guided setup in your MFP profile. (The only exception would be people who tell MFP they want to lose weight silly fast: There's no way to get adequate nutrition on too few calories.)
Follow that reasonably closely for 4-6 weeks (one whole menstrual cycle if you have those), then adjust based on your weight change results over that whole time period, plus how you feel.
You can learn more about macro and nutrition theory as you go on, but that should be a safe place to start for anyone who doesn't already have diagnosed deficiencies or nutrition-related health conditions. If you're complicated in those ways, ask your doctor for a referral to a registered dietitian, or consult one privately.1 -

Macros - 0.7g per pound protein is a good target. So long as you get at least some fats, split the rest between carbs and fats however you like.0 -
My Dr prescribed what she wanted and I manually entered. Always best prictice to discuss as your doctor knows ur meds etc. But its also good to have a dr whos on tye same page and not a pill seller! Mine went thru an interview process! Totally trust her today0
