I want to know whether I can reverse osteoporosis without drug treatment.

    Tricky question and one we can't really answer.
    What does your doctor say? And how bad is the osteoporosis? I would look into strength training and supplements (calcium, vitamin K and vitamin D) and see where that gets you? But depending on the severity, it might not be enough.

    Medical question, not really one for random idiots like me on the internet.

    I've proven that I can't reverse my osteoporosis exclusively through nutrition/supplements plus exercise, but we're different people.

    A previous round of bisphosphonates (Alendronate sodium specifically, for a couple of years or so) improved things enough that I was allowed to stop taking them. After several years off, bone quality dropped again, and I'm back on them. Minimal or no side effects, for me.

    YMMV.

    Talk to your doctor, ideally a specialist; even get a second opinion.

    Weightlifting has been proven to lessen severity of, and in some cases reverse, osteoporosis, even in nonagenarians (people 90+ years old). However, before you begin it'd be best to talk to your doctor whether you can medically handle lifting first.

    Yes you can! the first step is the body was designed to self heal but we the user have to give it the conditions neccessary to do its job of balance excellently well.

    My Mom had it! I am just like her - I have done weights and exercise for years.....doctor still suggested medication. I have had no side effects. I take a Prolia shot twice a year.

    studies have proven that lifting heavy things.. and walking ..jumping.. build bone back ... there are weighted vests you can wear .. or walk around your house holding ten pound weights.. go for long walks.. wear 3 pound ankle weights. Increase dietary calcium.. take vitamin k2 and high doses of D3.

    We don’t know anything about you but if your a female who is around middle age you might want to look into the menopause as lack of oestrogen can increase the chances of osteoporosis.

    yup.... take d3...magnesium.. k2 and do weight bearing exercises.
