Why are calories being added to my daily allowance

I started out with a daily calorie allowance of 1230 calories. After a couple of weight updates, my daily allowance was changed to 1530 calories. At my last weight check, I had gained .2 lbs

Are you exercising or do you have a fitness tracker linked to MFP? If you do, being active will give you extra calories to consume.

Another option: did you perhaps change your activity level setting?
  • Not much exercise other than my active job, and no, the only thing I changed is my current weight. It’s very frustrating. 🫤

go back in (on the Web version, not on the App) and check all your settings/choices in "Goals." Sounds like you may have inadvertently changed either your weight loss rate ( like from 1 pound per week to 1/2 pound or similar) OR you set it at some different setting on your "Activity Level." Either of those things will change your calories. Re-check both those things.

As a last resort, you CAN set your own calories Goal by just editing your calories under "Goals."
