Personal database

I want to barcode scan my foods into MY FOODS so I don’t have to keep doing it over and over I’ll have my own personal database and I can scan all my items right when I come home from the store.

This was exactly my problem too. I’m new here and I just wanna scan all my foods so that I can just choose them when I’m making a meal or a snack instead of having to scan it every single time

There is a roundabout way to do that:

Scan the food, then 'report food' at the bottom of the entry. Then choose 'incorrect nutritional info' and you will have the option to save the food to My Foods (no actual correction of the food necessary).

EDIT: you do need to edit the nutritional values for it to save, any small change will do.

I got excited reading this, but I just tried and it didn't save to My Foods :(

Edit: OH! But doing the "find a better match" thing did! Thank you!

Ah, I just checked and you do need to adjust the nutrition for it to save to My Foods. Just adding 0.1 kcal is enough, or any other tiny change.
