I've been doing varies exercises at home for the past 2 & a half months, this including the cross trainer, workout videos and routines ive found off the internet.
and i've slowly lost 7 pounds and my bmi is healthy! However i've only lost half an inch? losing stomach fat and dropping a dress size is my main goal really and it's not just happening? Anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to increase inch loss?

Right now, i'm doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred daily and 50 minute varies exercises on my vibetone as well as eating as healthy as i possibly can.

Lifting/Weights/Toning will shape your body and lose inches better than cardio will. Id you want to focus on inches, I'd do that, IMO. Drop your cardio and pick up some weights.

Start lifting. Either the new rules of lifting for women or strong lifts 5x5 is a good point to start, both got groups on here with more information

I do power yoga routines. It takes longer, I suppose, than lifting, to shape the body, but in 2-3 months, you will definitely start seeing results.
  • As long as you're losing weight (mostly fat would be preferable), you'll be losing inches.

Regarding the above posts' mentioning "toning", I feel it's my duty to say thi is somewhat bs depending on what they believe toning is and what you believe it is. In the general sense, "toning" is complete bs but because I'm nice and I understand naivety, I'm happy to let the use of the word pass without commenting on it, unlike people on sites like Bodybuilding on Reddit would! So! Toning is impossible unless you drop your body fat percentage to below 23%. When your bf% is around/below this then in order to "tone" you absolutely have to strength train. Toning means lowering body fat and increasing muscle mass.

But anyway, getting back on point, 7lbs in about 10 weeks isn't too bad. It's generally accepted that people should aim to lose 1-2lbs on a weekly basis.
Are you counting calories? If not thenn start and see how things go. Eating 500 calories below your TDEE should help you lose about 1lb a week.
