Bookmarks - unable to delete says “permission problem”

Anyone else having problems deleting old bookmarks?
When I untick and delete / I get a pop up that I don’t have permission for that. So I can’t delete any old bookmarks.

Hi all,
Small update here; i'm currently discussing with Vanilla support in regards to this issue, so it's on our radar. Granted, with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up all of us are stretched a bit thin, so we may not see much movement until next week.
I'll update here when I know more; glad that there is a (albeit not ideal) workaround for the time being.2

Not that issue specifically that you speak of but the other day I was unable to access my bookmarks and my discussions. It wouldn’t show the list in entirety. For example it would show I have 8 and only show 2. So there seems to be a glitch. It has since resolved, it was only an issue I had for that one day..0

Yup, I believe it's for threads/boards/groups that no longer exist. The bookmarks stay, but you no longer have access to what was bookmarked, so you can't do anything about them.1

Already let OP know via email, but wanted to confirm I am able to reproduce this and an submitting a bug report to our forum provider. Thanks!1

Thanks all for replying.
FYI This thread does still exist.. (it’s a challenge with a few friendlies I was able to ask.)
Hopefully the bug ticket works.
Cheers. 🥂1 -
@durden - update- I chatted with a few friends in a challenge.. apparently one can’t go to bookmarks and delete down the line.. you have to go to the thread itself and untick from the original post. Hope that makes sense.
Apparently it started last week. That’s my intel.
Thanks!

@durden
I use android phone or windows pc desktop - not the app.
For me, it still happens in my groups (not in the forums.) For existing threads.
I just rechecked. Tried to remove flag from Nov 12th on the discussions list inside a private group (ultimate accountability challenge November). Got the red permission error (for the 12th, even though it sits on the 11th).
I have to go into the actual thread to release the flag instead of setting or releasing the flag from the list of discussions - in the group.
Where- This is only occuring within Groups for me. I am not having the problem in the regular threads on the MFP forums nor the Mfp forums bookmarks link, only happens inside my groups.1 -
I am unable to add a bookmark (subscribe to a thread) from a group homepage. I haven't tried to remove any bookmarks, since I figured I then wouldn't be able to add them back
As @SafariGalNYC said, when I go into each separate thread I can then bookmark them.2 -
