How can I use "My meals" on the web version

If I save a meal so it appears in "My meals" - how can I then use it, on the web version?

Example: My typical "in the office" breakfast is a Benecol, then a porridge with banana and a coffee from the café near my office. They nicely told me the weight of the porridge and the amount of milk used, so I've created "BB Porridge with banana" as a meal.

I can search for it on MFP web version - and only find it if I search for it under "My Meals". And there it sits. I'm helpfully told I can view it. Or, I can delete it. That's it. I can't actually use it - there's no way to add it to my food diary that I can see? What's the point of that?

You go to your diary and then select 'add food' where you want to add the meal.
On the page that appears, there are several tabs including a tab 'Meals'. If you select that tab, you can select the meal you want to add and the appropriate quantity.

There's definitely a learning curve, but please do keep asking questions. It gets better with time and experience, or so I've found (using MFP steadily since 2015, loss and maintenance). People here are helpful, IME, and I've learned lots by asking questions or reading others' threads.
