I have been battling my weight now since 13. That was 26 years ago. You name the diet, I've probably tried it. About 12 years ago I was introduced to The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. It was the best diet I had ever been on, and lost 11 pounds in 8 days. I was almost 100 pounds lighter then (@ about 250), so the little bit left my stretch marks pink. I was on a roll. Someone then introduced me to The Protein Power. I foolishly jumped into it because it promised me an even greater loss, and it delivered...well almost. I lost 30 more pounds, but didn't lose an inch!
Disheartened, I went back to calorie counting, juicing, fasting....blah blah blah...and I gained it all back and more!
2 years ago lost almost 50 lbs. I was working full time in an active job (delivering chinese food), and went to a whole food diet for the 10th time. I felt great! I looked great! Even though I was a whopping 280, I was outgoing and happy. So happy I found new love and moved to a near by city, leaving my job, and nestled in to old eating habits plus snacking late at night while me and my man were gaming or watching movies!
My weight came back with a vengeance (my doctor even told me I was pre-diabetic). In June I started back on a whole foods diet, taking vitamins, raspberry extract, Cheyenne pepper, and a few other things. After 3 weeks of being "very vigilant" I had gained 4 more pounds! I took the next couple weeks off, to refocus and remember what had worked the best for me. By the time I had remembered The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet, I had gained 5 more.
A grand total of 323!!
THAT'S IT!! I'VE HAD IT!! If I have to deal with a healthy 1% weight loss every week, I'm doing it!
As of today (9/6/2013), I am 318.8 and I've only been on the diet for nine days. Of course I wish I could close my eyes and wake up at the end of the journey, but if I could I'd probably just gain it back because I didn't remember the struggle.
So, here I am. Take me or leave me. I will add anyone as long as they are positive and remember I'm doing what I can stick with.
I also have a blog, and I'm sure I sound insane sometimes, but you are welcome to read it!

Goals:
#1 get back to the twosies!
#2 get back to 280, where I was 2 yrs ago!
#3 250 (after 2nd baby)
#4 220 (after 1st baby)
#5 175 (my lowest adult weight @ 19)
I was very uncomfortable at this weight, so we'll see if I adjust and want more!
