Searching for Recipes

1. Is there a way to search for recipes? Simply browsing through Discovery is cumbersome and annoying.
2. 2. Once I locate a recipe, is there a way to add to My Diary for a future date-then have that entry actually link to the recipe? I plan meals ahead of time, but often have trouble locating the recipe on tge day I actually want to cook the recipe.

Thank you so much for the feedback and suggestions on the Recipe Discovery feature. I've passed this along to our internal team to think more about!

Wow. I just joined today and now finding out there is no search recipe option. Seems like that would be such a basic thing for a fitness tracking app. Feeling disappointed.

Excited about planning healthy meals however I agree with others that a way to search recipes by ingredients would be very helpful!

A lot of the recipes in "Recipe Discovery" seem to appear in the MFP Blog, in the Recipes section. '

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for, but as a workaround it is possible to search in the Recipes section there for an ingredient.

In the Recipe Discovery section, it's possible to bookmark a recipe for later use (click on the little ribbon-y looking thing next to the recipe on the discovery page), and it will then be in the "Saved Recipes" part of recipe discovery, which - at least in the Android version - I can access via the same ribbon-y icon but the instance that's in the upper right corner of the recipe discovery page.

I'm not criticizing the feature suggestion at all, just suggesting some things that are possible now that may be helpful in this general area, until features are added.
