Frustration

I need some encouragement. So much food coming at me with Christmas. I know I’ve gained weight because clothes are tighter.

Not all food needs to be eaten! And not all meals need to be high calorie. I control where I can, eat as low calorie as possible (without deprivation) where I have full control and am mindful of what I eat when I don't have full control.

You control what goes in your mouth. You don't have to eat food simply because it's there.

I just got through with an office potluck today. Surrounded by sweets/high calorie treats; I ate one chicken and one pork kebab and a boatload of raw veggies (no dip) and left very satisfied. The protein and fiber kept me from feeling tempted. Long story short, cravings can be managed.

The holidays can be hard alright with all the extra food and eating opportunities...

Consider looking at eating opportunities 1 at a time; just now, this one decision, is there a better choice, something that will help my body, help me right now? Do that... or a good compromise, and keep making small choices like that.

Hopefully you will find yourself up and going forward... 1 old favorite food choice does not stop future choices.... just consider making it choice by choice and not worry about all the choices ahead. You will get there when you get there...

Hang in, you can do this, it's really just about you (hugs)
