Need friends...lost.

Ok so I'm going to try n make this short. I want and need to lose weight. I live with 2 dogs and 1 cat and have no friends. I mean they all moved or got married or had kids etc. I'm pretty introverted so I don't really go out. I live in a small town and don't care for the ppl who live here. Options are limited lol. I'm wanting someone physically here to go on this journey with me but doesn't seem like it's gonna happen. So this is my next thing is hopefully to find ppl and make friends and exchange stories of fails and triumphs. I'm also pretty sedentary because of ailments that affect my mobility so that makes it even harder. I'm new to this app and not sure if I'm navigating it correctly but if you'd care to reach out and make a new friend or become my weight loss buddy/support system please add me
I'm in a dark place right now and just need comfort, appreciation, friends. I could go on and on about myself but that could take long lol. So take this post as you like and I'll be waiting. Thank you and you all have a wonderful day👍😊

I agree with SafariGalNYC's suggestion of joining in a challenge or support thread here, as a good way to get that kind of interaction. There are threads like that in various parts of the MFP Community, but they're most concentrated in the Motivation and Challenges areas, direct links here:

Generally, the first post in those kinds of threads will give you instructions about how to join in. If it doesn't, generally you just join by posting a reply on the thread. If the first post isn't sufficiently descriptive, you can get a feel for the thread by reading the most recent page or two of posts, to decide whether it suits you.
Speaking of which: Some of the threads have been running a long time. If you open up a thread that's on the first page or two of a Community topic area, it has recent posts, but they'll be at the end, on high-numbered pages if there's more than one page. You can jump straight to the newer posts by using the number/arrow keys near the top/bottom of any page listing posts in that thread.
Also, don't be afraid to reply on other threads here if you have something on-topic to say. There are threads where people post about their workouts or meals that are worth reading for ideas, and it's OK to ask follow-up questions, too. You can also post your own thread if you have specific questions or are finding obstacles you want help with. It helps if you use a specific thread title.
Finally, I'm concerned that you posted outside contact IDs. Most people here are nice and supportive, but there can be a small segment of catfishers, scammers, creeps looking for stuff like sex chat, and people selling supplements and such. I'd encourage you not to share real-life contact info in public - only after getting to know people pretty well in public then sharing contact info via DMs, if at all. If you decide you want to remove the personal contact info - your choice - you can use "Flag" under your post, then "Report" and click "Other" plus put a note asking moderators to remove the contact info. Like I said, your call.
