Hi All, from new year I want to put myself onto habbit of minimum 10k steps per day and lose over 35kg during 2025.
I am 47 Year old, male from UK.
Would like to connect with people who wants to join me in my weight loss journey and this 10k steps “indoor” walking challenge.

It usually restarts each month, so I expect there'll be a January 2025 version, but December is what's there now.

It can be great to find local buddies and support, but since this is an international web site, it can be a bit difficult to find local people here. Things like local events, clubs, or locales where people do the desired activity can be a good way to meet local people and make new friends.
I've read that parkruns are quite popular in the UK, and that it's common for people to walk in them (not just run). Sometimes people who are new to workouts or losing weight feel self-conscious about going to places where active people gather, but my experience has been that most such active people are supportive and will cheer on new participants.
