Introduction

Hello. I have been part of Myfitnesspal for several years now, but I would like to get more involved within the community aspect. My name is Deanna and I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach. I have also battled breast cancer this past year and now cancer free. I would love to connect with others to support a healthier lifestyle. I now I am looking to get back to where I was before my cancer with losing weight, gaining my strength back.

Look in the health discussion section. I'm sure your experiences and advice would be helpful for a lot of people

Hello, and welcome, from a fellow breast cancer survivor!

I hope you can find the time to read and post here in the Community, because I'm sure your CPT and health coach background would give you the ability to help others succeed with their health and fitness goals.

If you're looking for support yourself, a good way to connect with others is to participate in some of the structured motivation or challenge threads. They're the most concentrated in these areas:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/challenges
    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/motivation-and-support

. . . but there are others spread around here and there in other topic areas. There are some where people share photos/recipes for what they're eating, post their daily workouts (whatever they might be), and more. If you take a gradual look around, I'm betting you'd find something that might feel useful.

Since you're not new, you may know this, but in case not: Anything on the first page or two of a topic area has recent posts. Some of them have been running for a long time, though. When you open those up the first time, you'll see old posts. The newest posts are at the end, on the high-numbered pages. You can jump straight there with the number/arrow links near the top and bottom of the list of posts on any page of the thread.

Best wishes for full recovery, and for success with all your personal goals!
