Fun kid fitness

So this is stuff i did when I was younger, that I still like. I had a small trampoline, not the big kind you tumble on but the small exercise trampoline, I would jump on it instead of jogging, jumping is fun and you can get it for about 69 to 89 bucks at Amazon.

I also liked roller skating so i thought I might get a pair of those sneakers that have wheels that pop out, thought they'd be easier to skate in then roller skates.

i also want to get a hulahoop, I use to love that.

I haven’t tried them yet but the center I take exercise classes at has sets of weighted hula hoops.

I bought a hula hoop a few years ago and surprised myself by how crap I was 🤣 I remember hula hoping for hours as a kid but I really struggled to keep the hoop up at first. I looked like I was having a seizure.

I loved riding my bike around the neighborhood, climbing trees, playing tag, jumping rope, gymnastics and ballet. Playing with the hula hoop was fun too!

Most of this can be adapted to our adult bodies- except gymnastics for me. That ship has sailed! I’ve also taken up tennis and golf as an adult. And hiking.

I just found out there is an old school rink nearby, definitely will check it out. Oh and ice skating was a blast too!

Bottom line, there is still a way to incorporate our favorite childhood games into our adult lives. Let’s do it!
